Was flying to NY for Passover and, of course, had to bring my Zabar’s coffee with me. Last minute threw it into my carry on in a Ziploc bag.
Bag got flagged by TSA and so agent had to pull it aside.
When she opened it up she saw the coffee and said that it was the thing that probably got flagged and she’d have to open it up to swab it.
When she opened the bag and smelled the coffee she took a really deep breath in and then she looked up and sighed and said “that smells really good” to which I said, “tastes even better” and then she thanked me because she said “you don’t know what I smelled so far today”

Stanley Zabar brews his Zabar’s coffee each morning in a Capresso Coffee maker which keeps the Zabar’s Coffee hot in its insulated pot, perfect for when company is over. Stanley likes his black coffee cool so he freezes left over Zabar’s coffee in plastic ice cube trays and uses the frozen cubes to cool the coffee without diluting it until it's the perfect temperature for him.
