The beauty and bounty of the farms in the Berkshires are the main characters in this wonderful cookbook, bringing back memories of the amazing local food from my school days there. I am currently working my way through the soup chapter, with this refreshing carrot soup my new favorite. Next: Striped bass, pies, carrot cake, and more veggie dishes than you can imagine will have you cooking all summer. Enjoy.
