Dear Mihaly Mezei...
Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We are sorry that you were not happy with our French Italian coffee. We purchase the green beans and then we roast them ourselves. We do adjust the rosting formula from time to time - but according to Mr. Zabar there have been no changes lately.

I have been buying coffee at Zabars for nearle 30 years, mostly the French-Italian type. However my whole family uniformly noticed that the quality has significantly deteriorated. It is rather disappointing. Has Zabars switched to a different supplier? If not, is the supplier using a different source?

It was love at first sip. It was only by chance I discovered Zabar's a few years ago. As I was sorting the mail while a co-worker was on vacation I happened upon his Zabar's catalog. The rest is history.
I give Zabar's coffees and deserts as gifts on a regular basis, thus broadening the Zabar's family of friends who simply cannot get enough of these wonderful treats.
