My dreams are often filled with tales from my grandparents' childhoods in Italy, my favorite place in the world (except for the Upper West Side of Manhattan and a few beaches here and there). This book is filled with elegant recipes that will amaze your family and friends. Try the sausages with wine and olives or spinach tart tortilla di erbette, a ravioli-like pasta, filled with ricotta and Swiss chard, and a lovely fig cake for dessert.
