When I was little, I was very surprised to learn that some people had parents and grandparents who were either terrible cooks or didn't know how. Sitting at the dinner table sharing wonderful food has always been the delight of my day. This book has heirloom recipes that you will make over and over, such as Southern Corn Pudding, Green Onion Pie and Sally Lunn. It is one of my most beloved and worn cookbooks. It belongs on your bookshelf too.
