Dear Zabar's,
I usually don't write foodie-fan letters, but I wanted to let you know that for years we've been ordering Zabar's brisket for Passover. This year, we ordered for 21 people - we had the whole mishpocha - and the brisket was wonderful - tender, delicious - really the highlight of the meal. Although I have to say, for 17 years we've been ordering the gefilte fish in the roll from Zabars - and no one will eat any other gefilte fish now. My children grew up on it, the brisket, the potato kugel. We just couldn't do Passover without Zabar's. Zabar's has become an integral part of our family tradition. Even going to Zabar's to get everything is part of the ritual. We've now handed that function over to the next generation - we like it that way, instead of having it delivered - so they can enjoy the experience of shopping at Zabar's.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know. Thanks to the cooks at Zabar's!!!
