Join us on Sunday, October 20th as chocolatier, Mehdi Chellaoui teaches us about Mastering the Art of Chocolate.
Mehdi has a way with chocolate. We loved when he visited Zabar's to teach a class all about truffles and this time he's going to broaden our chocolate knowledge with a class all about chocolate. This is a free class. There will be a cooking demonstration, then a free tasting and plenty of time for questions.

Chocolatier Mehdi Chellaoui started working with chocolate in the bustling pastry kitchen of Le Cirque 2000 at the age of 16. Mehdi apprenticed in the chocolate room under the guidance of master chocolatier Jacques Torres every weekend for two years. Since then, Mehdi has graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, and went on to work at Jean Georges, Aureole, La Cote Basque, Payard Patisserie, and has served as the private chef to fashion and hip hop mogul Sean Combs. Mehdi and his designs have been showcased on the runway at New York City’s Chocolate Fashion Show and was featured in Martha Stewart Living, Gourmet and Vogue magazines.
