For all of you who attended, and any of you who were unable to be there with us, we had a wonderful and energetic cooking demostration by Tori Avey at Zabar's Housewares Mezzanine yesterday. She was excellent, approachable and fun! Both demonstrations were packed to standing room only and everyone in the house enjoyed plates of Tori's food. Not a crumb was left on anyone's plate.
I have to say that it might be the Herb Honey Roasted Chicken that stole the show, which was outstandingly juicy, flavorful and delicious, but in fact there were many murmers of people admitting to a past history of not loving Honey Cake that after tasting Tori's (which was amazing!) I'm pretty sure that's the recipe that's going to be repeated again and again.
